Dual heat roll laminator Heated laminating machine 28" WPL-C2 Dupont
This is a dual heat laminator for laminating paper or other thin substrates. This machine was originally built to be used with the Dupount "Waterproof System" but it can be used as a regular lamintor of thin substrates due to the rolls having no nip spacing between them. This is a very well built machine constructed of thick aluminum plate, machined gears and high quality electronics.  See video for demonstration.
The main differences between this unit and and other laminators are:
1. upper and lower rolls are touching (0 nip)
2. Controls are located under a panel on left side of machine
3. no film unwind stand
The unit is very simple to use as there are only three buttons on the front face. The temperature controllers and speed pots are located under a panel on the left side of the machine. One button in for reverse, one selects between "paper" and "film" mode and the third is power. There are two settings for roll pressure and speed that can selected by using the mode button on the front panel. Pressing the "film/paper" button increases the roll pressure by moving the lower roll up tighter against the top roll with a servo motor. There are only two settings for the roll tension/nip and both have the rolls touching each other although you could manual use a wrench to loosen up the tension spring to open the nip some. There are also two knobs for speed, one for each setting "film" or "paper". Each roller has its own digital temperature controller as well as a third temp controller that could be used for a spare or some other function.
