For the GM 6L80e Rear Wheel Drive Heavy Duty Automatic Transmission Upgrade Kit
This kit comes with:
a)  The Gaskets, seals, and sealing rings, aka "the kit" or "the bag"; everything you need to do a full tear down, rebuild,
and reassembly, includes valve body gaskets, grommets, orings, and small parts bag.  part #: 104002X
b) Hi-Flow Transmission Oil Filter, protects the pump and internal components from abrasive residual contamination
c) Borg Warner or Raybestos High Energy Friction Clutches;  the picture shows Red Clutches but they are not
available so this kit will ship with HIGH ENERGY Borg or Ray Clutches
d) BLACK Kolene Steel Plate Kit; high temp tolerance, will not bend nor warp nor slip
(with proper hydraulic operational conditions) ;
the 4-5-6 steels  will be Alto RA Performance Steel or Raybestos Kolene

maintain consistent pump volume during line rise and at high-RPM operation.
i) 104960-01k 4-5-6 Apply Piston Kit
GM 6L80 and 6L90 transmissions often suffer failure of the 4-5-6 clutch assembly due to OE design shortcomings. Insufficient clutch piston-to-plate apply surface area causes clutch plate failure, especially when apply pressures exceed OE specifications. The other problem is flexing and bowing of the backing plate (coning), which is a primary source of clutch failure.
The heavy-duty Sonnax 4-5-6 clutch apply piston kit 104960-01K addresses these weak areas in two ways:
A modified OE clutch apply piston and piston dam are used in conjunction with a specially-designed Sonnax piston apply ring.
A more rigid backing plate.

104984-01 Billet 1-2-3-4 Piston
GM 6L80/6L90 1-2-3-4 pistons commonly crack due to cantilevered stress on the cast material. The OE part has been through several revisions in an attempt to correct this, but all OE versions are still chronically known to crack. Sonnax 1-2-3-4 piston 104984-01 is made from stronger, billet aluminum and has superior design refinements that add additional strength to prevent breakage and deliver maximum performance.
