    This little reference book is a good introduction to needlework tools of every form

The author has lots of history and solid information on the tools and covers thimbles, thimble cases, needle cases, pincushions, emeries, tape measures, thread winders, waxers, reel stands, scissors, clamps, tatting shuttles, stilettos and more. It is well illustrated with black and white photos and focuses especially on English tools.
    It has a soft cover with 32 pages and measures 5 7/8" by 8 1/4". It was published in England in 1978 by Shire Publications.
    This is a slightly used copy but is in excellent condition with tight, intact pages.
